Gallipoli:

Gallipoli (meaning “beautiful city”) is a town in the province of Lecce and is located by the Ionian sea. Gallipolli’s old town is on an island connected by a causeway to the mainland. You can enjoy leisurely walks along the city’s seafront walls. Visiting Frantoio Ipogeo (underground olive mill) in Granafei Palace is most interesting thing to do in Gallipoli. It was first used in 1600 to make olive oil for lamps.
